Merry Christmas 2012 !

Hi All, Merry Christmas to all!

My celebration started at Wild Honey. All day breakfast.



Then Jack Reacher, entertained me for that evening..



Great Movie..!

On Christmas Eve, it was a half day at work. (or rather 3 hours off work.)
One colleague gave out a Christmas cookie when i reach office.. Nicely baked..



And there it is, the Christmas Lunch by the company...



Best part of the lunch, i won a Chocolate hamper during the lucky draw at lunch !!
(YEAH!)



The earpiece, which was my wish list for the company gift exchange.



This burning candle and aromatic oil with potpourri (Is this the right description?), was given by my boss.



Then was the friends gathering at night. Food, and catching up, plus the gift exchange..

With our christmas gift under the christmas tree.. HAHA!



And, i got a bottle of wine, YEAH~

Another new method to prevent cancer ??

It seems scientists discovered another new method to prevent cancer......

It is squeezing of the breasts.

HUH !! My eyes opened wide, when i saw the header of this article.

The article mentioned that Experiments found that physical pressure led cells back to normal growth patterns, and that even after compression was no longer applied, the malignant cells stopped growing.
And therefore can prevent cancer.

So those with lovers, wife, you know what to do.



Or, I can volunteer to help to squeeze..!

Full of Shit

That day, while having lunch, one of our lunch khaki had bird shit falling on her arm.

"Eeeee...." she shouted. And grabbing tons of tissue paper to clean it.


We had a good laugh that day.

Sorry to laugh at her.
Last evening when i was on my way home after work, i encountered the same situation.

I was traveling up the escalator to take the public bus home.. when i reached the platform, "some liquid" fall onto my hair. (I felt it but then thought it was rain, as it was raining.. but i forgot the platform area was sheltered.)

I ignored, and continue walking.

Suddenly ! I saw the right of my polo tee, there is this whitish, plus a bit of yellowish substance...

Oh no! It's bird shit !!!!
Laugh at me, i actually took some and smell it. (To double confirm.)

I rushed to the nearest toilet to clean it up.

My first time.
I wonder how many people saw this.......



I must really shout, HUAT ah !! (My favorite word to use.)
Huat (pronounced as Huat), is the hokkien language for prosperous. 

A day full of shit.
At work, and on my head.

HUAT ah !

The next movie i want to watch.

Over the weekends, i caught a movie.

It was "Life of Pi", directed by Ang Lee (李安).



Pi (Read as pie) is the mathematical number π, which is approximately equal to 3.14159.( Rounded to 3.142.)
However the movie has nothing to do with maths, but more to surviving in a very tough situation of a kid surviving a tragic disaster at sea, with a tiger.

A great movie, whereby you can see a lot of beautiful animals !! =)

The next movie i want to watch would be : Jackie Chan's Chinese Zodiac ( 十二生肖 ) !!

Hello December !

Hello December !

The topic now is are we going to die on the 21 of this month ?
We discussed it during lunch time.
The Mayan calendar is set to end on Dec 21, 2012.

There is even a website for this date.... ?



Whatever it is, i already paid my credit card and mobile bills.. i thought of not paying it, but then if i survive this date, i will be penalized for  paying late. Dilemma.

We survive or not, i love you, all my friends, all who know me !!!

Twilight Breaking Dawn

Sunday, i went to watch this movie.

Lucky for me, it was 3rd row from the back.
(Other cinemas mostly full.)



I was not the hardcore fan of this.. but then overall, it was not bad.
But then i think the girls should be having their saliva all over the cinema floor.... =P

Getting grumpy ?

As i age, i realized i am getting grumpy.

Scenario 1.

Last Friday at a Japanese restaurant, after dinner and i was queuing up to make payment.
There was only one counter, the queue was long.

There was supposed to be a receipt of list of items i ordered. I did not get it.
"I will quote the table number.." i thought to myself..

There was already about 3 people queuing in front of me.

Holding my credit card in my hand, finally it was my turn, and yes, i quoted the guy my table number. He generated the bills.
As i was going through the items, the guy grabbed my card from my hand. (He must be very desperate for my payment.)

My mind went -__-''

He thank me in the end, but my reply to him was : " Next time, dont grab people's card away like that. "And, walked off.

Scenario 2.

Seated at a table, while going through the menu, the waitress approached and check with us if we can change the to another table. (The incoming team was of 8 people.)
Being nice, we agreed.

But, so much for being nice.
Seat was being shifted to the most corner of the dessert place, and the air con was blasting onto me.
Best part of all, no one bothered to take my order, i had to walk to the counter to do so.

The next irrirated thing was, the same waitress who requested me to change seat, ask me to go back and prepare the money to pay. (Huh? I have not even eaten, and you asking me to pay??)

Feeling irritated.

I paid my $8.30 bill, with a $5 note, and the rest in coins. (Bleh!!)

Am i becoming more and more grumpy ?



Or i am just bad ??

Singapore Zoo's polar bear Sheba

The article stated : Singapore Zoo's polar bear Sheba dies at age 35.

No wonder i did not see it at my recent visit to the zoo.

I think most of us can remember that polar bear, whom we all know, and would be so excited to see it when we visit the zoo.
Its tough to see a polar bear, in topical Singapore.

I love watching the polar bear, swimming around.

So sad.

Will the zoo, make a theme out of her like Ah Meng too?

Been to KTV few days back with my ex colleagues.
It was also a birthday gathering for two November babies.

Some one sang this song.

Later i realized she is a Chinese born Vancouver based International singer/song writer. (From her Twitter Profile.)

Her voice reminded me of Adele.



But still, i enjoy both their singing. Do you? =)

The annoying sms spam

As mentioned in the post title, annoying sms spam.

Have you ever receive such sms shown below ?
I guess most of us did.



This is not the first time, i received such sms.
Guess it must be generated automatically by system or something. ( Who exposed my number huh? )

No reply after i replied "No money".

I hope i won't be charged for replying.
