The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Zhongqiu Festival (traditional Chinese: 中秋節; simplified Chinese: 中秋节; falls on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar.

- Carrying brightly lit lanterns, lighting lanterns on towers, floating sky lanterns
- Burning incense in reverence to deities including Chang'e (Chinese: 嫦娥; pinyin: Cháng'é)

- Collecting dandelion leaves and distributing them evenly among family members

- In Taiwan, since the 1980s, barbecuing meat outdoors has become a widespread way to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Last year, i was with my friend, Tian Fa and his friends, carrying lanterns at Ang Mo Kio park, and eating mooncakes. Few years back, we still meet up to play candles, chit chat...
I guess everyone's busy this time around.. and my dinner appointment was being cancelled last minute too.. so its a stay home mooncake festival for me. =)
