First run of year 2011.

Oh goodness me, i just had a 12 hours sleep from last night! Initially was planning a nap, but i sleep till the next morning... Zzzz..

By the way, yesterday was with my friends to collect the goodie bag for a run.
The 100 Plus PAssion Run, on the 21st May (which is next Sat) , my first run event of Year 2011, and more to come! =)

Let's show off the goodie bag.

The most significant was the Anlene packet drinks(expensive but good stuff), in which i presented to my Mum.
Next was the pulse watch, in which is useful to me, as im in need of a sports watch. LOL
The purple coloured singlet was my favourite too!(oops..)

The thick-skinned me also want to be a Gung Ho runner! HAHA..!

And ya, "Pursuant to Section 49, Sub-Section 7E, Paragraph A of the Parliamentary Elections Act."
Returning Officer and Chief Executive Director of the People's Association, Mr Yam Ah Mee, invites you to PAssion Movie Night on 21 May 2011 at East Coast Park, E2 too! =)

Stefanie Sun gets married ! =)

One on my favourite Singapore singers, Stefanie Sun gets married!

Actually i did no get to know this, until my Mm told me about it on Tuesday night. (LOL)
I think i am really outdated on news recently.. Need to do some catching up on news soon!

Quoted from HERE:
SINGAPORE'S very own pop princess, Stefanie Sun, has officially tied the knot.
Yesterday, the 32-year-old wed her boyfriend, Mr Nadim van der Ros, in a traditional wedding ceremony. Later in the evening, the two arrived at luxury hotel Capella Singapore on Sentosa to host a wedding dinner that began at 7pm.

Sun and Mr van der Ros, an engagement director at marketing agency Possible Worldwide, have been dating for five years.

So sweet right?

And anyway, my ex gf (we broke up 10years ago) is also getting married this month too!
Congrats, and All The Best! =)

Off to bed, am really lacking on the sleeping time, too...
Zzzz...

My virgin voting experience..

7 May 2011.
I did my virgin vote in my almost 30 years in Singapore!

  • Went to the polling station, full of excitement.
  • Crowd was not that much, and everyone looked stern.
  • Few policemen were around there too.. and the ground were nicely labelled, guiding us all along in the polling station.
  • The area was nicely organized and voting was done, within 5 mins! (Must clap hands to this part.)

Mark a big "cross" against the party you want to vote for.

DONE!
=)

I shall keep this slip in my "mooncake" steel box, till 5 years later. LOL!

And then last night i was too excited to sleep, and stayed up till 1:30am to watch the results. (Even though i was working the next day, Sunday..)

PAP still win most of the seats.
And my personal favourite Nicole Seah, din win. SAD!
Not much changes, just hope that our life will get along normally, praying hard things won't get more expensive!

Anyway, just for laughs: someone made this video of Mr Yam Ah Mee, the Returning Officer for the Parliamentary and Presidential Elections.
Video was of him sayng those words over and over again as he read the results of our elections.

And i realized, I am like working 6.5 days out of 7 days this week.(luckily for the Labour Day holiday on Monday) And my weekends, burnt. =(

Another new week ahead, i need to rest well.

How was your weekends, my dear friends? =)
