One day before voting day, the Cooling Off Day..

Tomorrow is the day we cast our votes.
So today was a "cooling day'.

Quoted from HERE : Cooling-off Day is a day when campaigning is disallowed and election
advertising must not be published or displayed. This is to let voters reflect rationally
on various issues raised at an election before going to the polls.

So, no more rally to go to.

Anyway, I think it's not so ''cool'' for me, as my nose suddenly bleed, while i was surfing on my laptop in my room.

After discovering it, i quickly ran out of room, used a piece of toilet paper, to stop the bleeding. (Just like when you meet a tap leaking, quickly find cloth to try to stop it.)

I must be lacking of rest or sleep..

And, im working this weekends.

Sobs...

Obama says: Osama bin Laden killed in shootout,

Today's top news, the death of Osama bin Laden.

Quoted from Yahoo.sg :
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed in a firefight with U.S. forces in Pakistan on Sunday, ending a nearly 10-year worldwide hunt for the mastermind of the September 11 attacks.

After so long and the super lasting game of 'Hide and Seek", he was finally dead.

And like Megatron in Transformers (Who copy who?), Osama bin Laden is also being buried under the sea!
Read the article HERE.

However, with this news, will there be more troubles?
His followers taking revenge ?
An Osama bin Laden II ??
Blah Blah Blah..

I don't dare to think.

Let's just get going into our normal life, and stay happy everyday.

Singapore Election Day, 7 May 2011

The big news, this week: The General Election Day, on the 7 May 2011 !

I started scratching my head: "no MP came to my house to shake hands yet?" (Oh well, it will be a walk-over, again)
The very last voting took place was like at least 15 to 20 years ago (An election usually takes place every 5 years.) I still remember my mum, holding my hand, to the polling centre, located at void decks of the HDB flats.. whereby the atmosphere was so tense and quiet.

And that was the only time.

Therefore knowing that i won't have much chance to vote again, this time around.
I went to bet on the Polling Date, hoping to strike, and win some pocket money.

As predicated (by myself), the number was sold out, which means no further bets can be taken in for this number. LOL

Some info can be found HERE, but not sure if this is the official website? (It's not updated yet, anyway...)

"People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people."

So friends, who get to vote...
The "Lighting", the "Hammer", the "Star", the "Arrow" or the "Sun" ?

Please Vote Wisely.

Videos shared on Facebook

Hi all, its been another crazy week, and i am very outdated on Facebook. However, came across some videos from Facebook.

1) Sharks don't cry - Stop finning! a campaign by www.sharkproject.org

Quoted from Youtube: "Sharks don't cry" is a very sad clip about a young tiger shark. The scenes were all shot secretly by hiding the camera. The film is part of the "Stop Finning" campaign from Sharkproject to call everyone up that butchering of sharks is a threat to our ecosystem.

Support Sharkproject. Get more information under http://www.sharkproject.org

Usually when we are invited to wedding dinners, the first thoughts is whether the dinner has Shark Fins soup as one of the dinner course (which also determines the red packet amount too) I admit i am one of them..

After watching this video, i am feeling guilty! Must think twice before eating it..

My future parents-in-law, can i don't include shark fins soup at my wedding? =P

2) Mass animal deaths since the start of 2011

* * * * * * * *
This is a video of mass animal deaths over the world..

Birds, Fish.. died in mass.

End of world??
Apocalypse?
2012??

Sigh... i think the Earth is sick.
If really suddenly we all died, i thank you all for being my friends!
*HUGS*
=)

3) Funny Interpretative Dance: 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' - Fast and Loose

* * * * * * * *

This is a video of David Armand performing a mime to Britney Spears's 'Hit Me Baby One More Time', and the people are to guess what song he is trying to do. =D

I keep laughing at his actions!!

Check out his other videos on Youtube too.. HAHA!

Updates for the past week

Hi my dear friends, how are you doing?

I started my new work.
Since im new, therefore i had to do reading and training of the work, of how the office work.
*Stressed*

Anyway, after about a week of using my android phone.. (and some of ya commented to ask me to try to do a review) i can say: its good! =)

It feels so much like the iphone 3GS i was using previously(it is also the same to unlock it - swipe finger from left to right), so getting use to it was not much of any difficulties. =)
The main screen of the phone.

And to go into the page of all apps on the phone, you press the blue icon, on bottom right button.

There you go, main screen!

And a cool feature i love: is when you try to swipe your thumb and index finger together, it changes into this multi-pages screen! And to go to the page you want to go, you can just tap onto it! (instead of swiping it left or right.)

Another cool feature i like: the so called 'task manager'. To activate it, swipe finger from top to bottom.
You can find the missed calls, sms you got.. and buttons to active the 'bluetooth', ' wifi' and such. =)

The pictures quality you might ask?
Share some photos i took with this phone..

My Domo.

The photos turned out quite decent, to me

Their Applications?

And like the Apple ''App Store''.. Android also have their ''Android Market''.
There are paid ones, and free ones.. games.. social media tools.. so much more! =)

Share with you a video.

Check out their review here.

Of course, there are still so many things to explore on this phone.. any tips and tricks you know of?
=)

It was April Fool Day, yesterday, and a call asking me to start work on the coming Monday, sounded like a joke.

Lucky me!!

Wish myself good luck, and thank you all friends, who's always been supporting me! =)

Throwing away the old memories.

Hi all, just to inform, i sold my iphone away!
Shall buy another new android phone? =(

Anyway, it was bed sheet washing day for the house over the weekends.

Mum suggested me to wash the pillow with my name being sewn onto it (by my ex girlfriend,as an birthday present..), even though it was not very professionally sewed, it was the thoughts that count.

But then, after a round in the washing machine, all the lettering came off !

It became..

THIS!

Ok, time to let go of the old memories 10 years ago.
She is getting married too. All the best to her!! =)

* * * * * * * *

Wanted a breakfast and a walkabout with a friend, in Queenstown food centre, yesterday, but discovered it was being closed down!

The shops beside the Queenstown MRT were all closed too!

A little memory of the Queenstown Bowl and the Food centre along Margaret Drive, too bad i was only there once, for the western food.

Any friends have any idea where it or the rest of the stores shifted to?
Email/sms me can?

Since it was closed down, we decided to change the venue to Chinatown area.

The view of the sky..

The ''cooling effect''..

Something for the Tin Tin fans!

Last picture of a dustbin.
"  Throw away the old memories, and move forward. "

Shall end with a song i'm currently addicted to.

Thank you for reading. =)
