Happy Birthday !

No to me, but to my army friend's cute cute daughter, Alivia!
It was her one year old birthday, and a nice party was being organized by her dear parents..!

The couple went along to book a ball room in a club, and a few of us went a little early to help him out with the decorations.. and running around. (of course eating the buffet.)

It was more of a "kids gathering".

There was ballon sculpting, and face painting. Somehow, well liked by the kids that day.

I enjoyed helping out, and watching the Toy Story 3 on the projector, which we played. =P

Polite, or Pushy ?

Hello all, when you go shopping, do you like the Sales Assistants to follow or service you ?

Yes, we enter the shop, they greeted us, this i accept.

It becomes too pushy, when they follow you behind like a shadow.

For example :
I walk into a male clothing shop.

"Hi, Good afternoon." The pretty lady will greet.
"Hello.." is my usual reply, and walks around the shop.

Next she will start saying, this and that having discounts..
"Oh.. ok, thank you." Will be my reply.

Continues walking around. At this point, usually the lady will shadow you.
"This one is having  xx% discounts..." and smiles sweetly.
"Oh, ok.." My reply again, and continue looking around.

Continue shadowing you...
"This looks good on you.." she will say.
"Oh, really??" I will reply her.

I will then walk out of the shop. This is due to me, not liking someone to shadow me around.

The normal reaction from the lady will be giving a "I don't care" face to you.

Such "pushy" sales are being encountered when i visited jewellery shops. They push the expensive items, and push you to buy. They show you the "Oh, you just can't afford to buy" kind of face. (Not even a thank you as i walk out the shop.)

Call me bad attitude, i will usually walk out of the shop.  I got the money i also don't want to buy from you. I want to spend my money, happily. (BLEH!)

Do you like someone "shadow-ing" you when you are shopping?

As according to this Article, Donna Summer died, aged 63 after a battle with cancer, on 17 May 2012.

And with this i start my story.

Few months back, i was thinking to myself, i needed a new pair of spectacle. The previous one had some scratches on the lens, and the colour of the frame coming off.

And on one fine weekend, on a lazy Sunday, with the super nice weather, i took a nice nap on my comfortable bed.

I placed the spectacle on the floor beside my bed, and napped.

After an hour, upon waking up, i took the spectacle from the floor, and without realizing the frame was being caught onto some plastic bag handle on the floor, i gave it a tough pull.

*OUCH* the spectacle shouted.

The frame broke. =(

Luckily for me, i had a spare one, that i wore for my running exercise.

With money spent, i got myself another new pair. (Yeah!)

Dinner and Dance 18 May 2012

The news was announced like in March this year.
Theme was "Black Tie Event".
Guys, tie and long sleeves, girls gown.
Everyone was excited, girls thinking of the make up, and what dress to wear to the dinner.

At the blink of an eye, the event arrived.

The food was ok. (I really mean ok only.)

However, it was being rewarded with a good host of Vernetta Lopez and the forever funny Phua Chu Kang, the contractor, who was best in Singapore, JB, and some say in Batam.

It was a great night, seeing colleagues from other regions too. As we are often communicating, yet never see each other before.

I did not win any lucky draw (Expected.), i dont have luck for such things.
Played table games, drink wine and enjoy.


Anyway, I considered myself "winning" one night stay at the hotel. (Let you guess why??)

HAHA !

Oops, i did it again.

After the passing away of my hammy, i was so sad and still so. (I seriously don't like to see animals dying.)

I stopped for a while, thinking whether i should keep them again, with fear of seeing them again.

And then, one of my friend, whose hamster gave birth to a few new babies, wanted to give to me. 

I thought about it, and agree to keep them! ^^


Cute, aren't them ? =P

However at the Day Three of them in the same cage, i realized them sort of fighting against each other.
One of my previous two hamsters, was bitten to death, as i did not realized they were fighting.. (I keep thinking they were playing with each other.)

I checked any signs of injuries on them, but did not seem to see any. However i spotted them biting each other.. or tried to bite each other.

Friends who have hamsters at home, how to tell if they are playing or fighting ?

Keep running

Today, i actually ran from Bukit Batok, which is the area i am staying, to Chinese Garden, and back to Bukit Batok.


As what my RunKeeper app was tracking on my mobile phone, it recorded as distance of 10.3km. (this inclusive of the walking and drinking break..)

The last time i did a 10km was in Dec 2011, the Stand Chart run.

I did felt the left knee aching while im on the way back... but then i think i should keep exercising regularly.

Especially after i had this last night.


The KFC "Double Down" Two pieces of deep fried chicken, with a cheese and bacon in between.
Sinful, much !! HAHA !

R.I.P. Hammy. 15 Apr 2012

We keep pets.
We feed them.
We wash their cage.
We play with them.

I have a hamster.



It sometimes sleeps, while sitting.


It sometimes runs out, to drink water, and stares at me when i come home from work.





This morning,i knocked at the cage. No reactions.
I touched its back. No reactions too.
I wished it was sleeping, but it was not.

It passed away.

I love pets, but dont like to see them dying.
