Thought of the day: Life is short, enjoy everyday.

Hi all! Hows the weekends going ? =) Was still on medications, so my body was still on the sleepy side. I slept from 8pm all the way till today 8am. 12 hours sleep! Weee! *mouth opened* =D And so i woke up, 8am, washed up, and did some studying (sure anot?), as i was rewriting my notes, and revising, i heard drums and trumpets playing. It was a funeral of a neighbour, a lady. (which i think i met before.. but sorry i can't remember her..) From what i heard from mum, she was a divorcee, who stays with three other ladies who she rented her rooms to. What happened to her was that she fell in bathroom, knock onto something and thinking she was alright, she went to bed and sleep, and never wakes up! Sad !! It was so emotional hearing the drums and trumpets and the songs they were playing made me even more sad. Therefore i decided to stop for a while and many thoughts start coming into my head. We work hard for the money, we study hard to get that qualifications, and then suddenly we just passed away like that? Shouldn't we slow down our pace to look at things and people around us? Life is too short not to make the best and the most of everything that comes your way everyday. (Sasha Azevedo) Maybe this songs can make me and all of us feel better.

MC today

The doctor declared me as having high fever, with 38.4 degrees. (Come to think of it, i can still work the day and see the doctor after i knock off..) With the blocked nose, i sounded like Barry White ! And so i am at home today, resting, and do a bit of revision for the upcoming exams. The rest of the time, shall be rest. * * * * * * * * Thank you to Belinda, i get to know this World Food Programme. We got food to eat, we got clothes to wear. How about people from other countries like Africa? We are lucky that we do not have major disasters in Singapore. Remember earthquake in Indonesia? The typhoons that devastated the Philippines? The most basic thing for them is Food. When was the last time you went hungry? Can you recall the feeling of the stomach shouting"please feed me~" ? I donated a small sum, but with the amount i donated, i hope it can help as many people as possible. Do help, by donating or please help to spread the words.

Sat outing with mum

Sat was spend going out with mum. I accompanied her to visit her God Ma, who had been taking care of her when she was young. Some tears would automatically flow everytime i visit her. There she was lying in bed, so thin(as she only survive on milk), and what she could do was only stare at us. Mum keep talking to her, all she could do was stare at us. I can still remember she was such a nice lady when we visit her family at my younger days. She makes milo, brings out all the biscuits for us... just so nice! And after a fall, she can only stare at us. Something grateful : she still can recognize us. I spotted some tears at the side of her eyes. Honestly i hope she can get well again, but... chances are so slim. Life is just so fragile. Do remember to treasure everyone around you. * * * * * * * * I am looking for khakis to watch '2012' next week. Anyday other than Wed. Anyone interested?
