Food was nice, especially the Xiao Long Bao ! =)

We chatted alot, and many catching up, the last gathering was like a year ago?
And then, we came out with another page of to-do-list.. (haha!)

Just wondering how many we can do..? lol

Think, before buying the bottled water.

Something KeWei shared on Facebook.

I feel we should give some thoughts to it, and think, before buying the bottled water.

The Story of Bottled Water, released on March 22, 2010 (World Water Day) employs the Story of Stuff style to tell the story of manufactured demand—how you get Americans to buy more than half a billion bottles of water every week when it already flows from the tap. Over five minutes, the film explores the bottled water industrys attacks on tap water and its use of seductive, environmental-themed advertising to cover up the mountains of plastic waste it produces. The film concludes with a call to take back the tap, not only by making a personal commitment to avoid bottled water, but by supporting investments in clean, available tap water for all.

Our production partners on the bottled water film include five leading sustainability groups: Corporate Accountability International, Environmental Working Group, Food & Water Watch, Pacific Institute, and Polaris Institute.

Starbucks, your coffee flow out of the shop already..

My dear Wendy, where are you !!!
We should go find if any branded bags or clothes still floating around..? =P

The poor people there!

In 1999, a TNP writer said that "Orchard Road will never flood"
It mentioned : It can empty an Olympic-sized pool before your cup of latte has time to cool.

WAH!

We just can't go against the Nature.

This song should be very appropriate these few days.. =)

The buzz buzz Vuvuzela...

For most of you, who's been following the Worldcup, i'm sure you know this stadium horn you been hearing since the first match. =)

It's call the Vuvuzela.

From Wiki, is a blowing horn up to approximately 1 m (3 ft 3 in) in length, commonly blown by fans at football matches in South Africa.

The first match, which was being aired 'Free" by TV, was the first time i hear them. At first, i thought my TV got problem! Haha.. i even switch channels to further confirm. oops !
But then, personally i'm irritated by it. =)

And i think FIFA is not banning it (yet).. ?

The time without Twitter.. I surf YouTube!

Its the start of the Worldcup!

The opening match between South Africa and Mexico, was the only match i watched so far.. I did not subscribe to the cable channels.( It was SGD90 for Worldcup channel! )
But thank you to Twitter, i can still know what's happening for the Worldcup.. But still, must be the overflow of it, that leads to an "old friend" of mine to greet me again.*It just appeared, again*

The Fail Whale of Twitter.

It is an illustration of red birds using a net to hoist a whale from the ocean along with the text, which means the website is 'overloaded'. *Yawnz*
