Stitches, Out !

Stitches, a method of medical care to close wounds.

I knock my head against an edge of a metal box which i did not notice, lost blood, got myself 2 x stitches. (Boo.)

After a week, the stitches are out !! YEAH !!

 

Luckily, the cut i got was not that serious, in which i need to be admitted to hospital. (Blessings..!)

Note to myself, please be careful next time, and don't hit the head again.

I was away from office for a week.

Already anticipate such a situation to happen.

Time for a few days of overtime to catch up.

The story of Zhu Zhu （猪猪） and Niu Niu (牛牛).

Let me tell you a self-made story today.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Far far away, there is a farm.

There are many animals in the farm.
Everyone live happily together.
Everyday the animals will be given some time to have lunch or play at that big piece of grassland just nearby the farm.

Our main character today :-
(1) Zhu Zhu （猪猪）, who is a cute little pig.



(2) Niu Niu (牛牛）, a cow. A rather "big cow"



Life at the farm was rather peaceful everyday, morning breakfast, afternoon lunch, dinner in the evening.
Of course some "bad weather" situations once in a while.

Zhu Zhu and Niu Niu, although living in different areas of the farm, will also talk to each other as and when they are given the chance to.

One fine day, during the "play time" at the grass area, Zhu Zhu was unable to find Niu Niu.
He went around asking the other animals of Niu Niu whereabouts.
The other animals were unaware of where Niu Niu went.
Zhu Zhu went back to farm, feeling puzzled and sad.

"Could he have got lost somewhere?"
"Could he have been killed off as meat by the farmer??"

Niu Niu did not mention where did he go to.

What happened to Niu Niu, and where did he go to ?
No animals know.
Farmer did not say anything.
No signs or whatsoever.

Niu Niu "evaporated" from the farm since that day.

Last week, i encountered my colleague aka lunch khaki some sort like Niu Niu, who also sort of "evaporated' from the company.

Strange.

Scary for me.

It might also happen to me, won't it ?

Jurong Lake Run 2014

Yes, i went for the 10km run this year !

Was given "666" as number this year.

Hmmm.... wasn't that number supposed to have a meaning......




Weather was the killer. Hot and humid.

The running route was also kinda dark and small, at some part of the route.

Not enough training.. Thigh cramped near the finishing line. 

Till the next run.

Life is seriously fragile...

Just got the news on Facebook, of an ex colleague passing away in an accident.

We used to be working in the same company.

He's only 35 years old.

Just bump into him three months ago, our last message exchanged was "Keep in touch!"

And now, suddenly knowing that he is gone.... i don't know how to react.

This brings back memories of my good friend's incident 6 years ago.




RIP, my dear friend.

The grass, turned yellow.

I smelled a strong "burning smell" when i was outside in the evening just now.

With the haze making its comeback, its gonna be a tough few weeks ahead.....

Singapore currently have 3 x Telcoms Operators.
( A Green coloured one. An Orange coloured one. And a Red coloured one. )



About one week ago, i switched over to another Telcom in Singapore. Actually tried out the other two telcoms before i decided on doing this.

One week later, i got no signal when i reached office this morning.

And then, i realized their mobile line was down (Again).

Oops!! Didn't i just jump over to it ??

The best thing, that could happen, i received their bill today. (HAHA!)



Anyway, am being compensated with one day of free local mobile calls, local SMS and MMS on this Sunday, 9 Feb 2014.

Call, Sms, MMS me. 

May it gets Better, with Lesser downtime, and More benefits to all customers.

It was a great chance to have a good rest, spend time with the family. And, watching tv!!

Seems to eat a lot over the past few days..
It all started on CNY eve..



It's no longer about the Ang Bao collecting, its more of having a chance to rest, and recharge. Sleeping as much as possible...

Time flies past very fast, when you are having fun.

It's back to work again tomorrow for me.

Why are we working so hard ?

Came across a News article there other day.

Copywriter, 24, tweets about working 30 hours in a row, dies the next day.

I believed our body cannot go without rest, or at least have short breaks. The lady really worked too hard, and sadly, she eventually passed away.

In Singapore, our normal office working hours, are usually of 8am to 5pm, or 9am to 6pm.

Yes, at times, there are "unexpected" issues, we have to work later than that timing, just to meet the deadline dateline.

This is how a typical workplace is.


Work is important, it brings us the Salary or Money($), we need for all our basic needs.

Health is important, it allows us to enjoy with the Salary or Money($) we received in return.



And what i was doing on my leave yesterday ?



I ate Ice Kacang, and people watching in a rather empty food court.

It was a first time i see such things in Singapore.

RIOT.

Ang Chia or Police Tactical Unit (Singapore) being activated.




What one person can do is limited, what a big group can do is scary.








Come to think of it, im currently handling India region.

Shotcut, is often a wrong cut.

One of the days, last week, on the way to work.

Was sitting at the bus stop, waiting for the bus to arrive.

Suddenly i saw a taxi went up the curb, and onto the pavement, and finally stopped at the grass patch area.

Upon it stopping, a lady, came jumping, and running out of the back passenger door.




It seems the driver fainted or something. Did not see anyone coming out of the driver seat, throughout the whole incident.


Luckily, the ambulance arrived shortly after, and I hope the driver is fine !

The driver might have dozed off ?

Been too tired, maybe he has been driving night shift ??

Worked too hard to keep the money coming in, and finally the body cannot take it, and lose control of the steering wheel ???

Life is short. Take good care, everyone.

Hi All !

Am just back home from a short getaway, or rather a well deserved holiday from work.

It was a great trip and great company, and of course the great food, and scenery of another country.


But on the other hand, i got a bad news.


Since one hamster left me in Sept 2013.

The other one surviving also bid me goodbye when i was oversea.



The very last photo my brother took for me.

The body was cold, and lying at one of its favorite hiding place.

Sighs. I even gave it a good bath, and washed its cage before i fly off.

Sighs. Could not say the last goodbye to both hamsters.

What a Friday !

Last Friday, it was really a bad day.

Work was busy, day was long.

However i was still being disturb by something.


Yes, it was a cockroach !!  AW~ 
In the end, i killed it.

After which, i took a well deserved shower, and wanted to relax myself by watching the tv.

Halfway through. Something happened again. 


I get this on my tv.

As instructed, i restart the equipment. It was still not usable.

*Pulls hair*

Then, i came to realized, it was Starhub's fault. 

Alright, so i played some games on my mobile phone, in my room.

And suddenly, the light bulb in my room burnt out !
